Episode 38: The Third Story vs. Compared To What Conversation

Leo Sidran, musician, producer, and composer SORT of joins the show this week. You see, Leo is the host of an incredible podcast called “The Third Story” and he got in touch with us recently with a brilliant idea to have a conversation about our two shows and each other. Mowo! took the call and sat down in Brooklyn at Leo’s studio. Leo’s father is Ben Sidran an incredible artist composer and producer and also a friend of Mowo!’s dad Joel Dorn. Leo – Drummer , Mowo! – Bassist……it was meant to be.  Both fathers are spoken about at length during this episode. Also covered ? Being a musician today. Growing up in the shadows of  fathers also in music. Electronic music and technology and making the perfect egg cream ( that wasn’t actually spoken about ). The conversation goes back and forth a lot. Leo has an incredible ability to interview folks so at points it gets a little Mowo! heavy! That was not the goal but Mowo! plus caffeine equals TALKINGGGGGG!!!!  We also speak about the Peterson brothers, Leo’s amazing time spent living in Spain and eventually working on the Oscar™ winning film “The Motorcycle Diaries”. Mowo!’s time as a youth ( pronounced my Cousin Vinnie style please ) in the studio with Marcus Miller ( yeah yeah yeah….we’ve heard about that guy before! ) .
